"The world" is actually a misleading term, as the multiverse is vast and has uncountable places, each one deserving the title of "world" in its own right. But only one of them is located at the center of the universe, if such a thing exists.

Inside the Material Plane, floating in the endless blue skies, "The world" exists. This vibrant and boundless plane is characterized by its infinite azure expanse, fresh winds, and the enchanting floating lands that captivate the imagination. Most scholars divide this extraordinary realm into two primary parts: the realms of Nyrus and The Drifts.

Nyrus, a colossal disk world at the heart of the Material Plane, is a land of remarkable diversity. From the frigid expanses of Kharnak in the north to the mystic realms of Eldenvar in the south, Nyrus is a tapestry of biomes and ecosystems. Towering mountains reach for the heavens, dense forests whisper ancient secrets, and vast plains stretch beyond the horizon. This is the world that the common peoples call home, a place where countless stories unfold, and the destinies of many are written in the stars.

Above the surface of Nyrus, floating majestically in the infinite skies, are The Drifts. These floating islands vary in size from as small as a house to as large as entire countries. Some follow cyclic patterns, others remain stationary, some drift erratically, and a few can even be moved by the will of their inhabitants. The Drifts are realms of mystery and wonder, each island a world unto itself, adding layers of complexity and adventure to the Material Plane.

Thus, while the multiverse teems with countless worlds, Nyrus holds a special place at the center of it all. It is the world known to its inhabitants, the beacon of life and adventure, surrounded by the enigmatic Drifts that float gracefully in the boundless skies. This is "The world we know," a realm of infinite possibilities and endless exploration.
