Paraelemental Plane of Ice

The Paraelemental Plane of Ice, one of the many planes in the Inner Planar Region is a realm where water and air intertwine, resulting in a frozen, desolate environment dominated by extreme cold and ice. This plane features high mountains made entirely of ice, vast glaciers, deep crevasses, and towering ice spires. The weather is severely harsh, characterized by heavy blizzards and freezing conditions, posing significant risks to life. Travelers must tread cautiously, as the plane is fraught with dangers like hidden crevasses masked by thin ice layers, making navigation treacherous.

There are milder regions where a few hardy creatures make their homes. Even here, heavy snow and very low temperatures are common, requiring planar travelers to always have appropriate protection. The added risk of encountering local creatures adds to the plane's danger. Some creatures have adapted to live in the deep crevasses, which offer natural protection against the harsh weather conditions outside. These crevasses are both a refuge for life and a potential danger for the unwary traveler.

The Paraelemental Plane of Ice is inhabited by a variety of creatures adapted to its harsh climate. These include ice elementals, mighty frost giants, the burrowing remorahz, formidable ice worms, the elusive frost salamander, and the fearsome yeti. Additionally, many humanoid creatures from other planes are drawn to this plane, seeking the unique properties of its intense cold.
