The Quasielemental Plane of Mist

The Quasielemental Plane of Mist, in the Inner Planar Region, is a realm of ethereal beauty, shrouded in perpetual mist and softly radiant light. This plane exists because of the union of the positive energy and the element of water. The plane lacks a proper ground, and gravity here is subjected to the user's will. Unattended objects remain floating, carried by serene currents of mist. The plane is actually cold, but not too much to be a hazzard. Actually, this plane is surprisingly hospitable, offering a serene and mystic atmosphere.

The mist even has some mild properties that promote growth and fertility. This is why, even though there are few really native inhabitants, the plane is full of life, especially vegetable life. Plants and fungi abound, but without proper ground, these plants have adapted to live floating. Some of these even group together to form big floating forests of unrivaled beauty.

But the native vegetation poses a threat to other life forms. It has adapted to be able to hunt creatures that dare approach too much. Also some can even set spores in the skin of other creatures, and after a brief time, fungi or other life forms will begin growing on them, eating the flesh until they kill the host. Aside from the vegetation, and the usual mist elementals, other natural inhabitants are the myconids.
