The atmosphere is a deadly challenge; saturated with toxic fumes and irritants, it's lethal to air-breathing creatures. Constant exposure leads to suffocation and intoxication, making survival without specialized protection impossible. The air's irritants particularly affect the eyes, necessitating protective gear.
